We are often told that exfoliation is an important part of skin care. To understand why exfoliation is important we need to understand the skin’s natural cycle of regeneration.
Our skin’s natural ‘shedding’ cycle is between 28-31 days and as we age this process slows down even more! To achieve radiant, glowing skin a little assistance is always beneficial because it removes the dead cells that cling to the skin’s surface revealing the fresher, younger skin cells below. It will also allow for better dermal penetration when other skin care products are applied to the face.
If you don’t exfoliate regularly old skin cells will start to pile up unevenly on the skin’s surface giving it a rough, dull appearance. It can also lead to other cosmetic products being poorly absorbed which can clog pores and encourage blackheads, whiteheads and acne.
Pineapple Facial Scrub is a specially formulated product that contains Mother of Pearl, Ground Walnut Husks and Jojoba Wax Beads to gently slough away the dead skin without causing damage or abrasion. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Bromelain (pineapple enzyme) to unclog pores and lift away dead skin cells.

Ylang Ylang- a soothing and calming product, Ylang Ylang provides an antiseptic action to fully cleanse the skin whilst also softening it. So effective at balancing the skin’s oil production it is recommended for use on both oily and dry skin to bring about a healthy balance of sebum.
Neroli- this ingredient serves to rejuvenate skin by stimulating new cell growth and is particularly appropriate for use on sensitive skin making it an accessible ingredient for all skin types.
Apricot Kernel Oil- an antioxidant high in Vitamins A, B and E, Apricot Kernel Oil is also high in oleic acid which mimics the skin’s natural pH so closely that it makes an outstanding moisturizer and base carrier. It also serves to refresh the skin while its high content of natural fatty acids nourish and revitalize.
Pineapple Face Scrub also contains the goodness of added Vitamin E and Macadamia Oil which help to repair and soothe rough, dry skin whilst exfoliating. They also assist in increasing the dermal penetration of other creams and lotions you might apply to the skin.

Purified Water, Macadamia Butter, Papaya Liquid Fruit Extract, Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Bromelain, Ginseng Panax Extract, Apricot Kernel Oil, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Ground Walnut Husk, Mother of Pearl, Jojoba Wax Beads, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Cetearyl Alcohol, Mono- Diglyceride, Stearic Acid, Vegetable Glycerine, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Decyl Glucoside, Phenoxyehtanol; Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylyl/ Capryl Glucoside, Carbomer, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Stearate, Ceteareth 20, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Xanthan Gum, EDTA Disodium, TEA, Fragrance, Tartrazine.
Remove a small amount of product (around the size of a 10c piece) and rub between the fingers. Apply gently and evenly across the face working in small circular motions to remove skin cells. Rinse with warm, fresh water.
